6 DAYS AUTHENTIC UGANDA SAFARI TO BWINDI GORILLA PARK /QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK /KIBALE FOREST PARK

Day 1: Nairobi /Entebbe
You fly from Nairobi to Entebbe to start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You begin panoramic Safari south-word to Bwindi Gorilla Park through the Kigezi Highlands in the beauties of the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will stop for pictures at the Equator, a line that divides the world into two, the safari will allow you to get good shorts of pictures from your window of long Horned cattle, side markets in Lukaya, Lyantonde the famous places for roasted meat and banana know as “Gonja” and fruit market in Mbarara, lunch shall be served in Mbarara, at Agip Motel. Shall then drive direct to Bwindi forest National Park to arrive late in the evening to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lodge.

Day 2: Bwindi gorilla safari
Early in the morning go for breakfast before briefing at the park headquarters at about 7:45am, and then proceed for Gorilla tracking which may take 4hours or the whole day depending on the Gorilla movements. Bwindi Impenetrable forest is stunning as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. You will also look out for mammals like elephant, monkeys, giant forest hogs, duikers, leopards and many more. It is a tiring activity but the observing and spending time with these humble giants is exciting, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable. The gorillas are known to be peaceful and shy animals. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/ lodge.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Park /Queen Elizabeth National Park
Distance and time estimates are about 154km (4 hour drive). Morning; Drive off to Queen Elizabeth National park  after an early breakfast, via Ishasha sector to lookout for tree climbing Lions in the Ishasha sector however, these are seasonal and drive through the Maramagambo. Enjoy game drive enroute as you drive to check in at Mweya Safari Lodge, and then have your Lunch. Boat (ride) cruises on the Kazinga channel that Joins Lakes Edward and George. The trip will pass you through swamps of Hippos, buffaloes and birds residents and migrants. The trip generally offers a prolific bird life making the trip a birders paradise. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel /lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park and Transfer /Kibale Forest Park
Early morning warm up coffee / tea at early hours and go for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi track and Queens’s mile in the park.  Look out for animals like big Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Hyenas, Leopards, mongoose and birds this will take 3 – 4 hours depending on how the game drive is. Return from the game drive for breakfast, and then proceed to Kibale Forest Park 162km drive, enjoy as you follow the mystical mountains of the moon (Ruwenzori Mountains) for most of the journey, and arrive in time depending on how you enjoy the journey late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel /lodge.

Day 5: Kibale National Park
Early morning (if you are to stay in Fort portal town then breakfast is at 08:00am) then leave to Kibale forest National Park headquarters for briefing before you go to enter in this beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking including other primates like the L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed monkey and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and several bird species, butterflies and many small insects, can be seen before you return back for lunch. In the afternoon after Lunch go to Biggodi for a swamp walk the area is run by the community as away to preserve and save animals in the Kibale forest. You shall then return for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel /lodge.

Day 6: Kibale National Park
Kampala or Entebbe Airport to depart out after your early breakfast, drive to Entebbe via Mubende with a lunch stop en route before arriving to Kampala, depending on your  flight schedule head to the Airport to catch your flight back to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Later pick your international safe flight back home.
